The G20 Leaders’ Summit, held on the Indonesian island of Bali, started in Apurva Kempinski with the main theme of “Recover Together – Recover Stronger”. Indonesian President Joko Widodo, in his opening speech at the G20 leaders’ summit, called on world leaders to take concrete steps together to fix the global economy despite the differences of opinion on the war. “We have no other choice, cooperation is required to save the world,” Widodo said. “The G20 must act as a catalyst for an inclusive economic recovery. We must not tear the world apart. We must not let the world fall into a new cold war,” he said.
