Indonesia’s Lewotobi Volcano Erupts After 21 Years

The Lewotobi Volcano in the southeast of Indonesia’s Flores Island erupted after not being active since 2002. The volcano spewed ash and smoke to a height of 1500 meters, said the Centre for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation. Locals were advised to follow the instructions of the local government.
