Intensive Search for Missing Crew Continues After Turkish Ship Sinks

Following the sinking of the ‘Kafkametler’ off the coast of Türkiye’s Karadeniz on November 19, relentless search and rescue operations continue for the 11 missing crew members. Resuce teams, supported by sea vessels, helicopters, planes, and land units, maintain around-the-clock efforts to locate the crew.

The search escalated further on November 20 after the discovery of Metin Usta, the ship’s cook, found deceased. Thermal cameras on land are continuously monitoring the area where the ship went down, bolstering the search efforts.
