The IM-1 space mission, the first moon landing attempt of the US-based Intuitive Machines space company (IM), has started. The Falcon-9 rocket carrying the Nova-C lunar lander designed by IM was successfully launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA, at 09.06 GMT.
Intuitive machines will carry scientific and technological payloads to the moon’s surface for NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) program.
