Iran, Belarus Vow Closer Ties

 

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in Minsk, saying Western attacks target all independent nations and warning, “The West collectively wants to dominate the entire region.”

Both leaders highlighted cooperation through blocs like BRICS and the Eurasian Economic Union. Lukashenko called Belarus a “reliable partner” and pledged support in areas from food supply to military cooperation.

The visit saw 12 agreements signed on politics, industry, healthcare, tourism, and investment, along with a joint travel declaration.
