A person accused to be a spy of MOSSAD, the Israeli national intelligence agency, was executed in Iran. The person, whose identity was not publicized, was stated to have planned a drone attack on a research center.
Last January, four more people were executed in Iran for attempting to carry out a bomb attack on a factory belonging to the Ministry of Defense in Isfahan in 2022 on behalf of MOSSAD.
