Iran’s parliament approved a bill suspending cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) until the safety of its nuclear sites and scientists is guaranteed. The decision passed with 221 votes. Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf criticized the IAEA for failing to condemn recent attacks on Iran’s facilities. Lawmakers chanted anti-US and anti-Israel slogans after the vote. IAEA head Rafael Grossi had earlier urged Iran to maintain cooperation, calling it essential for a diplomatic solution.
