Iran nuclear talks resume in vienna

Nuclear talks resume in Vienna with the participation of Russia, China, England, France and Germany which are parties to the nuclear agreement with Iran. “Iran represented by a new delegation led by deputy foreign minister Ali Bagheri-Kani. The new delegation has new understandable political sensibilities. Iran has recognized the former six rounds of talks. The participants agreed on further immediate steps during the seventh round of negotiations,” Senior EU Foreign Relations Enrique Mora stated following the last meeting.

The Tehran administration wants the Vienna negotiations to be held on a realistic basis and the US sanctions to be completely lifted at once. The Washington administration, on the other hand, wants Iran to reduce its nuclear activities and uranium enrichment operations to the level determined in the nuclear agreement, and that the Tehran administration return to the agreement without any conditions.
