Iran Reaffirms Readiness for Nuclear Talks Without Pressure

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi stated that Iran remains open to negotiations on its peaceful nuclear program but will not engage under threats or pressure. Following talks in Tehran with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, Arakchi emphasized that cooperation with the IAEA is ongoing and aims to reduce tensions through a new roadmap for dialogue. He urged that diplomacy is the only path forward and expressed hope for a balanced approach from the U.S. and European countries. Reiterating Iran’s commitment to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, Arakchi stated, “We are ready to negotiate, but only within a cooperative and respectful framework.”
