Iran Reports US Strikes on Water Infrastructure

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei stated that the US military deliberately struck vital civilian water infrastructure in Hormozgan province. The attacks in Sirik destroyed two water reservoirs with a 2,500-cubic-meter capacity, cutting off drinking water for over 20,000 people across ten villages. Emphasizing that water is the “pulse of life,” Baqaei described the strikes as a calculated war crime rather than collateral damage. He stated that the US must be held accountable for these actions, citing clear violations of human rights and international humanitarian law.Esmaeil Baqaei
