Iran Signals Shift to Offensive Military Doctrine

Iran’s Chief of General Staff, Abdolrahim Mousavi, visited a newly unveiled underground “missile city” operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), amid ongoing tensions with the United States. The facility belongs to the IRGC Aerospace Force and was inspected alongside its commander, Brigadier General Majid Mousavi.

Mousavi said Iran has upgraded its ballistic missile capabilities and is prepared for any potential threat. He added that following what he described as a 12-day war, Iran has shifted its military doctrine from defense to offense, emphasizing asymmetric warfare and a firm response to adversaries.
