Iran test launches rocket into orbit

The Iranian Ministry of Defense announced that the Zuljanah satellite rocket has been launched successfully. According to the Ministry’s statement, the solid-fueled Zülcenah rocket weighs 220 kilograms and has a carrying capacity of 500 kilometers.

Iran launched a rocket called Simorg into space in January, and the satellite’s orbital mission failed due to the rocket’s inability to reach sufficient speed.
