The three-day funeral ceremonies for Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who died in a helicopter crash, concluded in the cities of Tabriz, Qom, Tehran, and Mashhad. Reisi’s body was first taken to his hometown, Birjend, before being moved to Mashhad’s Imam Reza Tomb for burial as per his will. Millions of Iranians gathered to pay their respects, chanting anti-US slogans during the ceremonies. The hearse moved through the crowd amidst Quran recitations and prayers before Reisi was laid to rest at the tomb.
