Iranian Religious Leader Khamenei Leads Friday Prayer After 4 Years

Iranian Religious Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei gave a sermon with a rifle before the Friday prayer he led in Tehran for the first time in 4 years. Speaking to the Islamic world in his speech, Khamenei called for unity against Israel.

“If this policy of the regime succeeds in one country, it will then spread to another country. Nations that do not want to be under such a paralyzing siege should open their eyes now and not allow this. When the enemy attacks another nation, that nation should be partnered with and that oppressed nation should be helped to prevent the enemy from failing. We Muslims have been unaware of this fact for years and have seen the results. Today, we can no longer be unaware and we have to be alert,” said the Iranian leader.

Khamenei also said that Iran will continue to respond to Israel’s attacks but will take the most correct action without rushing.
