Iranians gathered in the Palestinian square where the Palestinian Embassy is located in Tehran and celebrated the operation of the armed group Hamas targeting Israel.
“This operation was also an important message for countries such as Saudi Arabia, which want to normalize with the Israeli regime,” said a demonstrator named Ahmed Irfani.
“I am very happy about this victory won today for the free people of Palestine. No land on earth can be usurped, and if it is usurped, its real owners will take it back,” said Mohammed Jamshidi, university student.
Israel’s National Emergency Service (MDA) announced that 22 Israelis lost their lives in the attacks carried out from the Gaza Strip. The Israeli Ministry of Health announced that 545 people were injured.
