Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets in Tehran for the World Jerusalem Day march, which is held every year on the last Friday of Ramadan in Iran to support the Palestinian people.
The protesters carried banners that read slogans showing solidarity with Palestine, condemning the US and Israel and boycotting their brands. In addition, symbolic coffins draped in Israeli and US flags and photographs of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump were set on fire.
