The Islamic Resistance, which is a coalition of pro-Iranian Shiite armed groups in Iraq, announced that they launched attacks on 2 strategic Israeli targets in the occupied Golan Heights and 3 strategic targets in the south and north of Israel.
The Iraqi group stated that the attacks were carried out in order to “continue the resistance against the occupation (Israel), to support the people of Palestine and Lebanon, and to respond to the occupation regime’s massacres of civilians, especially children, women and the elderly,” and that the attacks on Israeli targets would increasingly continue.
