Ishak Pasha Palace Draws Thousands During Holidays

 

Located in the eastern Türkiye, Ishak Pasha Palace in Ağrı, known for its eagle’s nest appearance and unique architecture, welcomed 15,850 visitors during the 9-day Eid al-Adha holiday. This historic Ottoman-era palace, located on a hill 7 kilometers south of Doğubayazıt, showcases architectural influences from the Ottoman, Seljuk, baroque, and rococo periods. The palace, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Temporary List, includes a mosque, rooms, walls, tomb, courtyards, and harem halls. Tourists from around the globe visited the palace, taking advantage of the holiday to explore its rich history and beauty.
