Israel Allows 50 Humanitarian Aid Trucks into Gaza

Israel has permitted 50 trucks carrying humanitarian aid to enter northern Gaza, following pressure from the U.S. The move comes a day after the U.S. warned Israel to improve humanitarian conditions in Gaza within 30 days or face potential cuts to military aid. This marks the first aid entry since October 1, as Israel had previously blocked such efforts.

The aid convoy, coordinated by Israel’s COGAT, includes food, water, medical supplies, and shelter materials, primarily provided by Jordan. The UN’s World Food Program expressed concern over food shortages in northern Gaza, with no aid delivered since the start of October. Israel has stated that humanitarian aid facilitation will continue.
