Israeli forces struck a building of the Islamic University in Gaza that was sheltering displaced Palestinians, then targeted the site again as people returned to collect belongings. Reports say many were killed or injured.
Gaza’s Media Office said Israel has demolished 70 high-rises and damaged 120 others in Gaza City this month alone, displacing more than 350,000 people. Since October 7, 2023, at least 64,871 Palestinians have been killed and 164,610 wounded in Israeli attacks.
