Israel Claims New Hezbollah Leader Killed in Beirut Strike

The Israeli army launched a heavy attack on an underground bunker in Beirut’s Dahiya district, reportedly targeting senior Hezbollah leaders, including Hashim Safiyuddin, seen as the successor to slain leader Hassan Nasrallah. According to Israeli media, the bunker housed top Hezbollah figures, with Safiyuddin as the main target.

The strike, one of the most intense in the area since Nasrallah’s death, shook southern Beirut and nearby neighborhoods. No confirmation has been made regarding Safiyuddin’s fate following the attack.
