Israeli forces have completely destroyed the Qasmiyeh Bridge over the Litani River, severing the last remaining bridge connection between southern Lebanon and the rest of the country. The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the latest wave of Israeli strikes killed 11 people, including women and children, while 15 others were injured near the village of Qasmiyeh. A senior Lebanese security official confirmed the catastrophic damage to the bridge, stating that the structural ruin makes any future repairs impossible. The Israel Defense Forces had previously targeted the crossing on March 23, alleging that Hezbollah was utilizing the vital infrastructure to transport weapons and militants into the south.
