The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that 104 people, including 46 children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza within the last 12 hours despite the ongoing ceasefire. Another 253 people were injured, prompting renewed calls for a full ceasefire and safe humanitarian corridors.
At funerals held in Deir al-Balah, grieving families accused Israel of violating the truce and condemned the international community’s inaction. Since the ceasefire began, 211 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 600 injured, according to Gaza health officials.
The Israeli army stated that the ceasefire remains in effect but confirmed recent operations targeting Hamas militants, saying it would “respond forcefully to any violations.”
