The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that the Israeli army carried out an airstrike on a building where journalists were staying in the southern Lebanese town of Hasbaya, killing 3 and wounding 3 others.
It was determined that those killed in the attack were Al Mayadeen cameraman Ghassan Najar and broadcast technician Mohammed Rida, and Hezbollah-affiliated Al Manar TV cameraman Vissam Kasım.
“The occupiers attack on journalists’ accommodation was intentional. As Al Mayadeen team, we hold Israel fully responsible for this war crime in which journalists were targeted,” said Ghassan bin Jiddo, one of the directors of Al Mayadeen.
