The Israeli military has confirmed the death of Ahmed Ghalib Balut, a senior commander of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force, in a targeted airstrike on Beirut’s southern Dahiye district. The assassination marks the first attack on the Lebanese capital since a ceasefire agreement initially took effect in mid-April.
