Israel Kills Three Journalists in Gaza

The Gaza Government Media Office said three journalists were killed in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, raising the total number of journalists killed to 260. The office named the victims as Abdul Rauf Samir Shaat, Muhammed Salah Qashta, and Anas Abdullah Ghanim, saying they worked with the Egyptian Relief Committee’s media team. It condemned what it described as the deliberate targeting of journalists and called on international media bodies to respond. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, 466 people have died in Gaza since the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas took effect, with the overall death toll since October 7, 2023 exceeding 71,500.
