Following US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel opened the Erez Border Gate to increase the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip for the first time in 208 days of the Israel-Hamas war.
Colonel Moshe Tetro, head of Israel’s Gaza Coordination and Liaison Office, said that the gate will be open every day and that he hoped that the target of 500 aid trucks entering Gaza a day would be met.
