The Israeli army raided the Marinette, the final vessel of the Global Sumud Flotilla attempting to deliver aid to Gaza, detaining its six-person crew, including four Turkish citizens.
The Polish-flagged boat had fallen behind due to engine trouble. Its captain, Cameron, said before the raid, “There are very tough Turks on board… and we will continue in this direction,” vowing to push toward Gaza despite setbacks.
