Israel Rejects Accusations of Genocide at ICJ

Israeli Ministry of Justice official Gilad Noam made an oral defense against South Africa’s request to stop the attacks in Rafah at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands. Defender Noam said that, contrary to South Africa’s claims, what is happening in the Gaza Strip is not a genocide but a tragic war between Israel and Hamas, and requested that the requests for urgent injunctions to stop the attacks be rejected.

Meanwhile, Israeli Foreign Ministry official Tamar Kaplan Tourgeman’s speech was interrupted by a participant’s shouting “liar.”
