Israel Rescues Israeli Prisoner Held in Gaza Since October 7

 

The Israeli army has successfully rescued Qaid Farhan al-Qadi, a 52-year-old Israeli prisoner, who had been held in the Gaza Strip since October 7. The operation, which involved elite commandos from the Shayetet 13 unit, took place in a tunnel in southern Gaza. The rescue was coordinated by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Southern Command, Shin Bet, and the IDF’s 162nd Division. Al-Qadi, who is in good health, has been transferred to a hospital. Due to security concerns, no further details about the operation have been disclosed.
