Israel Resumes Restrictions On Entrances to al-Aqsa in Ramadan

The Israeli army resumed its restrictions over entrances to the Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem during the second Friday prayers of the Muslim holy month, Ramadan. Thousands of people who wanted to enter the mosque waited on the control points to be allowed inside by the Israeli forces. Only men over 55 and women over 50 were allowed to enter.

Although many people were declined, the prayers were performed by 120,000 Muslims in the mosque.
