Israel Strikes South and East of Beirut

The Israeli army struck Dahiyeh, south of the Lebanese capital Beirut, yesterday. At least two airstrikes were carried out, said security sources. Thick smoke rose from the targeted areas.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israel carried out another attack in the West Bekaa region of the country’s east, hitting a building in the town of Baaloul and killing four people, including Sahmar Mayor Haider Shahla. Teams continue to search for those trapped under the rubble.
