Following the intensifying Israel-Hamas conflicts, controls tightened in the city of Sderot on the Gaza border as US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s visit to Israel today. Israeli soldiers have set up barricades and are not allowing civilian vehicles to pass. Israeli soldiers stationed at the Sa’ad and Netivot junctions inspect military vehicles individually before permitting their passage.
Blinken will hold meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli officials in the capital Tel Aviv.
