Israeli Airstrike on Gaza Hospital Kills Five

An Israeli airstrike on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, has killed five people. The Gaza Health Ministry reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the hospital’s surgical department.

Palestinian officials stated the strike targeted a Hamas official, and Hamas confirmed the death of political bureau member Ismail Barhoum. Israel claimed the attack was based on intelligence and carried out with precision munitions.

At least 45 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks in Rafah and Khan Younis since Sunday, according to health officials.
