Israeli warplanes targeted the city of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, one Palestinian was killed and another injured. The Israel Defense Forces stated that the rocket launch site in the city and a vehicle containing members of the Islamic Jihad Movement were targeted.
