At least 10 people were killed and 14 others injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple locations across Lebanon overnight.
In the Aramoun and Saadiyat areas south of Beirut, health officials reported six dead and eight wounded. A separate strike in the El Matraba neighborhood of Baalbek left four dead and six injured. Rescue teams are currently working to reach those feared trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
The strikes follow an announcement by the Israeli military regarding a large-scale wave of attacks targeting Lebanon and Iran.
