The Israeli Defense Forces announced that it had targeted several points in Syria in the past few hours, including command centers and ammunition depots.
“The presence of military forces and assets in the southern part of Syria poses a threat to the citizens of Israel. The IDF will continue to operate in order to remove any threat to the citizens of the State of Israel,” said IDF’s statement.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced that 2 people were killed in the Damascus countryside.
Various sources reported that the IDF hit the town of al-Kiswah, about 20 kilometers south of the capital Damascus, a facility, and a town in Daraa province.
