The Israeli army’s severe attacks, which have been causing the deaths of thousands of Palestinians for 85 days, force millions of others to migrate to other cities. Many Palestinians living in the Maghazi, Nuseirat and Bureij refugee camps in the Gaza Strip are frequently migrating to the southern city of Rafah to live.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East stated that the number of displaced Palestinians in Rafah exceeded 657,000 and that more than 150,000 people, most of them children and women, had nowhere to go.
