Israeli Army’s Attacks Won’t Stop, Says Netanyahu

Negotiations for the release of the prisoners and ceasefire in the Gaza Strip between Israel and Hamas in the Egyptian capital Cairo have reached an impasse as both sides rejected each others demands. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu published a video message today after Hamas’ statement indicating that a ceasefire wont be accepted if Israeli continues to attack the Gaza Strip, and stated that the attacks will continue.

“We are not ready to accept a situation in which Hamas emerges from its shelters, regains control of the Gaza Strip, rebuilds its military infrastructure, and returns to threatening Israeli citizens in the surrounding communities, in the cities in the south, and all over the country,” Netanyahu said.

Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniye accused Netanyahu of sabotaging the negotiation efforts.
