Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced that an assessment had been conducted at the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Southern Command in Beersheba. He stated, “I have given the order to completely surround the Gaza Strip. From now on, there will be no electricity, food, or fuel in Gaza.”
Israel continues to carry out attacks in Gaza under Operation Iron Sword. The Israel Defense Forces reported targeting numerous areas associated with Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Organization in Gaza. Dense smoke has risen over the region.
