Israeli Embassy Employee Stabbed in China’s Beijing

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that a staff member working at the Beijing Embassy was stabbed outside the embassy premises. Reports indicate that the injured staff member is in good condition, and medical treatment is ongoing. The identity and nationality of the attacker remain unknown. Chinese authorities have not issued a statement regarding the incident.

Recently, Rafi Harpaz, Deputy Director of the Asia Pacific Department of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that he was “deeply disappointed” after his telephone conversation with China’s Special Representative for the Middle East, Zhai Jun, due to the fact that a clear and unequivocal condemnation of the attacks carried out by the terrorist organization Hamas against innocent civilians was not made.
