Israel blew up house of detainee Palestinian

Israeli forces conducted a raid in the city of Nablus, located in the occupied West Bank, resulting in the demolition of a Palestinian detainee’s home. Osama Tawil, who had been arrested earlier this year on charges of killing a soldier, had his house targeted in the Rafidya Quarter. As tensions escalated, Palestinians reacted to the situation, leading to clashes with Israeli forces. Tear gas and bullets were used to disperse the crowd, resulting in the death of 20-year-old Khalil Yehya Anis and injuring two others. The Palestine Red Crescent reported that approximately 170 people were affected by tear gas and received medical treatment. The demolition has rendered Tawil’s mother, father, and sister homeless.
