Israeli Forces Execute Two Palestinians After Surrender in West Bank

In Jenin in the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces shot and killed two Palestinians moments after they surrendered with their hands raised. Mahmoud Qassem Abdallah, 26, and Youssef Asasa, 37, lifted their shirts to show they were unarmed before being forced to the ground, beaten, and then shot at close range. The execution was captured on video, and Palestinian media reported that Israel confiscated the bodies.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the incident as a “war crime” and urged the UN Security Council to act. Israeli police and the army confirmed the shootings and said an investigation was opened. Far-right Minister Itamar Ben Gvir publicly supported the forces involved.
