Israeli Forces Intercept Gaza-Bound Aid Ship

Israeli forces have intercepted the Sadabad, a vessel belonging to the Global Sumud Flotilla attempting to deliver water to the blockaded Gaza Strip. The flotilla, which includes 54 ships and approximately 400 activists, was in international waters about 250 miles from the coast when two Israeli warships approached and boarded the ship. Organizers confirmed that all communication with the Sadabad has been lost following the military intervention. This event marks the second disruption of the flotilla’s 2026 Spring Mission by the Israeli army, following a previous interception off the coast of Crete in late April.
