In the raids carried out by the Israeli forces in several neighborhoods in the West Bank’s Nablus and a town in northern Ramallah, 5 Palestinians were killed and more than 20 civilians were injured. Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that 4 people died in Nablus and 1 person died in Ramallah. According to the Palestinian official television, mutual fire was opened between Israeli forces and Palestinian civilians shortly after the Israeli soldiers appeared in Nablus.
Palestinian Presidential Spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeyna said that Mahmoud Abbas is establishing “urgent contacts in order to stop this aggression against our people”.
