Israeli soldiers threw a stun grenade to an 11-year-old girl in the head near the Damascus Gate in occupied Jerusalem. The little girl was transferred to Jerusalem Hadassah Hospital by the medical teams who came to the scene. The girl named Manwar Burqan was reportedly deaf and was educated at a private school in the city.
Clashes broke out after the Israeli soldiers attacked many people attending the Isra and Mi’raj commemoration ceremony in the Bab al-Amud region. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, 36 Palestinians were injured in the attacks. Israeli police announced that 20 Palestinians were arrested and 4 policemen were injured.
