Israeli Government Encourages Civils to Arm

Following the clashes between Israel and Palestine that started on October 7, the Israeli government lowered the restrictions on arming of civilians. After Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu encouraged controlled arming, many people began to carry their weapons outside. It is especially possible in the capital, Tel Aviv, to see civilians carrying long-barreled weapons in every street and alley.

As it is considered the most secure city to live in at the moment, Tel Aviv has been hosting numerous Israelis who have left their homes in the north, south, and border areas since the start of the war.
