Israeli settlers closed Gaza’s Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) border crossing which connects Israel and Egypt. They blocked the entry of food trucks during protests. An Israeli soldier’s family demanded the releasing of their son who was taken as hostage by Hamas. According to Israeli news, Hamas took 4 Israeli soldiers as hostage including one Israeli soldier named Hadar Goldin, before reaching a ceasefire with Israel.
