Israeli soldiers read Jewish prayers in a mosque in Jenin, the occupied West Bank, while another soldier recorded them with laughter. The insulting attack on the mosque drew great reactions from Palestinians and many Muslims.
Israel’s far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir shared the video on his social media account and said, “The Shema Yisrael prayer performed by our heroic soldiers in a mosque in Jenin.”
