At least 21 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza overnight, bringing the death toll to 700 since attacks resumed last week, according to Palestinian health officials.
In Gaza City’s Shujaiya neighborhood, a strike at 3:30 a.m. killed seven people, including the son of Ibtisam al-Saifi, who described families trapped under rubble with no access to food, water, or medicine.
Hamas reported heavy losses among its members, while Israel vowed to continue operations until hostages are released. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned civilians to evacuate, while Hamas denied using civilian areas for military purposes.
